We understand the importance of accurate representation of your work, but we receive hundreds of photos. Following the guidelines below will ensure a smooth process for all of us!

  • Provide only one photo/image per entry. You may submit up to three entries per application.

  • Photo must be at least 900 pixels (or 3" at 300 dpi resolution) on its shortest side.

  • Photos should be supplied in JPG or TIF format and must not have been edited in any way. You may include an edited version of your bead photo – in addition to the original photograph – for the layout designer to use as reference for color accuracy.

  • Use neutral backgrounds - white, black or gray - solid or gradient

  • Do not include excessive background area in your photos or the final bead image size may be too small. Bead images which are too small will not be suitable for publication.

Feel free to e-mail Julie Ferguson if you have any questions about the image guidelines.
